My name is Anne-Maree Ryan (formerly known as Anne Leaver) and I am a Civil Marriage Celebrant. I was authorized by the Attorney General's Department, in 2005. Since then I have made it my mission to help couples create ceremonies that they are truly comfortable with.

My aim is to try and ensure that the ceremony is as stress free as possible. I do that firstly by including, free of charge, an on-site rehearsal. This ensures the ceremony runs smoothly on the day. And secondly by only booking one wedding a day, this means my sole focus is on your ceremony.

I am a full time professional Celebrant and I am a member of The Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants and also Marriage Celebrants Australia (Inc).

My goal as a celebrant is to help couples create a ceremony that reflects them both as individuals and as a couple. To enhance and personalize your ceremony I have an extensive range of poetry and readings to choose from. I can also offer a range of rituals to further complement your ceremony i.e. candle lighting, sand ceremony, rose ceremony, butterfly releases etc.

For couples who have children I recognize the importance of including them wherever possible in the ceremony.

I am happy to travel to perform ceremonies. However, if the venue is more than 60km from the CBD, there is a surcharge to cover cost of time, motor vehicle and possible accommodation costs. The greatest distance I have traveled so far was to Bali earlier this year. A couple flew me up there to perform their Renewal of Vows ceremony.

I have been involved in public speaking since 1988. And since then I have completed numerous communication courses.

The feedback I get most often from my clients is that I am warm, friendly and approachable, whilst still retaining a high standard of professionalism.

As a Celebrant I consider it an honour and a privilege to be involved in, what essentially is, the most important day in a couple's life.
