1. How far in advance do I need to book my Celebrant?
It is important that you book your Celebrant as soon as you have set a wedding date. This is especially so if you would like me to perform the wedding, as I only book one wedding a day.

2. What do you provide?
Free initial consult.
My individual attention as I only book one ceremony a day.
A non-intrusive PA system to ensure your guests hear all the ceremony.
A personalized ceremony that reflects you both as individuals and as a couple.
I have a extensive collection of poetry, prose and rituals to further enhance and personalize your ceremony.
Lodgement of all legal paperwork.
I can provide a signing table, cloth and 2 chairs with covers and sashes, if required.
A beautifully presented full copy of the ceremony.
I am happy to meet with you after hours.
Should you have any questions prior to the wedding I am readily available by phone or email.
And most important of all - A FREE ON-SITE REHEARSAL.

3. What do I need to do legally?
You need to complete a Notice of Intended Marriage Form. This form needs to be completed and lodged with your Celebrant, at least one month prior to the wedding. The Celebrant will need to sight your official birth certificate or official extract. Overseas passports can be used for identification purposes but an Australian passport cannot be used. If you are a divorced person or a widower the Celebrant will also need to sight your divorce certificate/decree nisi or your spouse's death certificate. You will need two witnesses for the wedding and they must both be over 18. This is just a brief overview. We can discuss in detail the legal requirements when you contact me.

4. What if I am overseas? Who can I have witness the Notice of Intended Marriage?
If you are overseas I can email the NOIM form to you. Then I can advice you on the appropriate authorized persons to witness the NOIM form.

5. What happens if the Celebrant is unable to perform my wedding due to ill health?
I have over time built up a network of colleagues who I can approach to perform a wedding if I am unable. I am also a member of Marriage Celebrants Australia (Inc) and The Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants in the case of an emergency I would contact one or both of the Associations and ask for assistance.
